Where Culture and Art Meet

Salons are integral to the founding concept of the Corrales Arts Center. CAC’s six annual salons emulate the historic design of the salon, which began in the 1600s as conversational gatherings in private parlors that focused on musical, artistic, and literary trends. Our salons feature artisans of all genre whose insightful and interactive presentations occur in private homes, studios, and other venues.

This member-only benefit is included in a CAC membership. The CAC salons are blessed with having generous sponsors, whose contributions help defray the expenses of producing a salon. Sponsorships generally are $500 per salon, and may be shared by two or more people. We will be seeking sponsorships for the upcoming year’s salons.
