PRESENTED BY DANIEL STEVEN CRAFTS

Composer, and classical music reviewer for the Albuquerque Journal.

The Elizabethan Renaissance was England’s finest period of music composition. Such composers as John Dowland, William Byrd, Thomas Tallis and Thomas Weelkes were contemporaries of the author known as “Shake-speare” as society was undergoing a radical change from the medieval period. We’ll talk about and listen to some of the favorite works of the period.
